As a gym trainer I was asked several times the comparison between indoor exercises and conventional jogging .Initially I couldn’t satisfy myself with the general answer but as I surveyed in this regard I found evidences to give a proper reply.
Training with heavy weights tone your muscle properly and you will get the right density for the mass .It doesn’t meant that you are shredding extra pounds but still you look leaner than before as for every three pounds of muscle you built, you are burning an extra 120 calories a day. the running and biking are the most adopted outdoor exercises which are not meant for body fitness as these exercises reduce weights by loss of muscle mass. The person feel rigid after a long run in contrast to those squats,lunges,dumbbells,leg lifts and crunches through which Your body become quite flexible with the right proportion of muscle mass and you can have stress free weight training sessions with proper rest with all those extra fat burn out. In the consequence, it is clear that if you want to do a cardiac workout it is better to run but if you are in a mood of shape-up those scheduled gym workout can burn your fats in a style.
