Which gym do you currently train at? Metro Flex, Sydenham, South London
What got you started in bodybuilding? One of my inspirations for starting was watching Lou Ferrigno as the Incredible Hulk.
Past or present bodybuilding idol and why? Serge Nubret for his magnificent shape and overall quality, Arnold for his trailblazing efforts and dedication to bodybuilding, Lou Ferrigno for his mass and determination and Ronny Coleman for bringing the sport forward.
Where did you place in your very first competition? 2nd at the London qualifier for the 1990 EFBB British junior finals.
Best bodybuilding achievement? My best achievement has been getting to any competition in good shape. It takes a lot of time, money, dedication and willpower to complete the task.
Best achievement outside of bodybuilding? Becoming a Gladiator.
What is your motivation to train and/or compete? To do better than last time.

What other sport would you have pursued if you didn’t do bodybuilding? Football – playing for Nottingham Forest of course
Where can you see yourself in 5 years time inside or outside bodybuilding? Both but outside hopefully more TV and film. Inside with my own gym and more success for my business Fit Nutrition.
What is the one piece of advice you would give to someone entering bodybuilding competitively or non-competitively? Realise your limitations and ignore them.
Any closing comments? Bodybuilding is a life sentence and you should expect hard labour. Without the full cooperation from your brain your body will not reach the heights you require. Make the mind body connection to make the grade.
