Best Lifts: My training approach is high reps therefore I lift what I can hence the weights can fluctuate. I never go for max lifts, I don’t really know how much weight I could lift for a maximum of say one rep.
Which gym do you currently train at? Monster gym in Crayford
What got you started in bodybuilding? After going to a competition to watch a gym member and being encouraged to compete by friends from the gym.
Past or present bodybuilding idol(s) and why? Past bodybuilding idols, so to speak, were Gary Taylor, JD Dawado, Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman. The first two because they were the first bodybuilders I saw; Lee Haney was the king when I first started to train as a bodybuilder and Big Ronnie for his size and training style.
Where did you place in your very first competition? My first bodybuilding competition was in 1992 EFBB South Midlands Championships where I placed first.
Best bodybuilding achievement? Winning the British Championships and overall title in October 2011 earning my IFBB PRO Card.
Best achievement outside of bodybuilding? When my daughter was born.
What is your motivation to train and/or compete? To be the best professional I can be and an inspiration to others.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to someone entering strongman competitively or non-competitively? Enjoy and love what you are doing and take it seriously.
